Live Oak Students Are Going Google in the Library!

Live Oak students in grades 2-5 are using their RRISD Google accounts when they come to the library.  Using Google Apps for Education, students are able to collaboratively create products.

Mrs. Smith's Kindergarten class used TurningPoint "clickers" to vote for their favorite Armadillo Book with Live Oak Librarian, Mrs. Harvey-Slager.

Second Grade Research at Live Oak

Mrs. Dower's second grade class has been busy researching about animals and plants!  They are using their new found knowledge to create amazing presentations using PowerPoint.

Students at Live Oak are learning how to create graphs and charts like the one above using Excel.

Science and Technology Night at LOE

Families enjoyed the science and technology activities at Live Oak Elementary.  Each grade level had activities, such as science experiments and SMART Board activities, for families to enjoy.
